Chrome 150 Update Fixes 2 Critical Use-After-Free Flaws - tech|
| (hx) 10:08 AM CEST - Jul,15 2026 | Google has released Chrome version 150, fixing 15 security vulnerabilities including two critical use-after-free flaws that could allow remote code execution.
The critical issues (CVE-2026-15764 and CVE-2026-15765) affect the Ozone component, while the remaining vulnerabilities include heap buffer overflows, uninitialized memory use, and insufficient input validation across Skia, V8, GPU, and other core parts of the browser.
In total, the update contains 2 Critical, 12 High, and 1 Medium severity fixes.
Most of the flaws could potentially be exploited by attackers to compromise users’ systems if left unpatched.
The new version is rolling out gradually to Windows, macOS, and Linux users. |
