Sony has announced it will end online support for user-generated content in the 2011 PlayStation 3 title *inFAMOUS 2* on August 31, 2026. After this date, players will no longer be able to create, upload, download, or play any community-made missions, though the main single-player campaign remains fully playable offline.

The shutdown will also lock the Platinum trophy for new players, as several required trophies depend on completing UGC missions. Sony cited “ongoing technical considerations” for the decision in its official notice.
