AMD has released Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition 26.6.1 drivers that quietly resolve a shader compilation issue affecting the popular PS3 emulator RPCS3.
The bug, which appeared after driver version 26.3.1 in March, impacted Radeon RX 7000 (RDNA 3) and RX 9000 (RDNA 4) series graphics cards, causing problems with shader cache generation, startup, or rendering.
Although AMD’s official release notes do not list the fix, the RPCS3 development team has confirmed that the new driver fully resolves the issue for Windows users.
The update also adds support for new games like F1 25: 2026 Season Pack and World of Tanks: HEAT, while fixing crashes in titles such as Subnautica 2 and Marvel Rivals on RX 9000 cards.
Emulator enthusiasts running AMD hardware are advised to download and install the latest driver to restore smooth performance in RPCS3.
