Acer has launched the new Swift Air 14, a premium-feeling ultraportable starting at just $699 aimed squarely at the MacBook Neo.
It features a vibrant 120Hz 14-inch display, CNC-machined aluminum chassis available in stylish colors, quad speakers, and a large 70Wh battery — significantly bigger than the MacBook Neo’s 36.5Wh or XPS 13’s 52Wh.
Powered by Intel’s new Core Series 3 “Wildcat Lake” processors, the laptop weighs only 2.76 pounds and is just 12.9mm thick at its thinnest point.
Acer claims up to 19 hours of video playback and fast charging to 50% in 30 minutes.
The device includes Thunderbolt 4 ports, making it a strong Windows alternative in the affordable premium segment.
This launch brings serious competition to budget ultraportables with a focus on build quality and battery life.
