A developer has used Anthropic’s latest Claude Opus 4.8 model to build a fully playable multiplayer MOBA called 'LMAO' - a humorous "Temu League of Legends" clone - in under a day.
The project features AI-generated art and animations (created as SVG code then converted to smooth canvas graphics), custom champions, bots with different difficulty levels, and real-time multiplayer using PartyKit.
The builder treated Claude like a full development team, using sub-agents for individual champions, goal-oriented prompting for major tasks, and iterative workflows for optimization and bug fixes.
All art, abilities, and even the bots were generated by the AI, with the developer mainly guiding the process and cleaning up champion names to avoid IP issues.
