Huawei Unveils Massive 122TB SSD - tech

Huawei has launched its new OceanDisk 1800 SSD series with huge capacities of 61.44TB and 122.88TB, aimed at AI inference and data centers.

The company uses innovative Die-on-Board packaging to mount more lower-layer NAND dies directly on the circuit board, bypassing US sanctions on advanced 3D NAND chips.

This allows higher storage density in a smaller space without relying on foreign high-layer tech.

A even larger 245TB version is planned for the future.
