Quantic Dream will discontinue development and end service for Spellcasters Chronicles, its free-to-play team-based third-person action strategy game that launched in Early Access for PC via Steam on February 26, just four months after release on June 19, the developer announced. Any in-game purchases will be eligible for a full refund upon request.

The company cited a “particularly challenging market environment” that has not allowed the game to reach the audience required to ensure long-term sustainability as the reason for its decision.
