Ubisoft Hits Record €1.3B Loss Amid Game Struggles - briefly

Ubisoft reported a massive €1.3 billion operating loss for its fiscal year ending March 2026, its biggest ever.

Net bookings dropped 17.4% to €1.53 billion due to weak game launches and delays. The company cut about 1,200 jobs as part of cost-saving efforts. It expects more sales declines and losses next year but hopes to turn profitable by 2027-28 with upcoming titles like the Assassin's Creed Black Flag remake.
