Roblox Restricts Low-Player Games for Under-16s - briefly

Roblox is rolling out new rules for games to reach users under 16 as part of its Roblox Kids (ages 5-8) and Roblox Select (ages 9-15) accounts launching globally in early June. Games with fewer than 100 highly engaged players in the last 60 days will no longer be playable by under-16s, aiming to ensure active maintenance and better safety. Creators can regain access by hitting 500 highly engaged players in a 60-day period or paying a one-time 1,000 Robux fee (refundable after 3 months if eligible). Existing popular games meeting the threshold stay available, while low-activity ones shift to 16+ only.
