Plex Lifetime Pass Jumps to $750 - Big Hike Hits Fans - briefly

Plex is raising the price of its new Lifetime Plex Pass from $249.99 to $749.99 starting July 1, 2026. The company says the change reflects rising development costs while keeping monthly and yearly subscriptions the same. Existing Lifetime owners are unaffected. Users have until June 30 to lock in the old price. Many are upset and considering free options like Jellyfin instead.
