China Hits DDR5 8000 MT/s Milestone - tech

Chinese memory makers are closing the gap with global leaders in DRAM technology. CXMT has demonstrated DDR5 chips running at up to 8000 MT/s using 16Gb and 24Gb dies, while Jiahe Jinwei (via POWEV/SINKER) is mass-producing 64GB RDIMM modules at 5600 MT/s for servers and data centers.

These advances support China's push for semiconductor self-reliance in AI and consumer computing. The developments were showcased at recent industry events and are already reaching the market.
