Fan Remake of Need for Speed: Underground 2 in Unreal Engine 5 Drops Exciting New Gameplay - movie

A dedicated fan project called 2Unreal5Underground has shared fresh gameplay footage of its Need for Speed: Underground 2 remake built in Unreal Engine 5. The clip shows open-world free-run races, the first Outrun event, spawning traffic, and career mode opponents, with big improvements like better vehicle suspension, day-night cycles, and NOS mechanics. Developers note that AI still needs tweaks for odd behaviors like erratic spawning, but over three-quarters of the game is already complete.
