Wi-Fi 7 Face-Off: Galaxy S25 Ultra vs OnePlus 13 vs iPhone 16 Pro Max - Who Wins? - tech|
| (hx) 09:38 AM CET - Feb,03 2025 | In this video, the presenter conducts a speed test among three of the latest smartphones—OnePlus 13, iPhone 16 Pro Max, and Galaxy S25 Ultra—each equipped with Wi-Fi 7 capabilities. The test is executed under controlled conditions, with all devices connected to the same Wi-Fi network (SSID: Earth 7) to ensure a fair comparison. The results reveal important insights regarding the performance of these devices in terms of download and upload speeds. Notably, the OnePlus 13 consistently outperformed the others, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max lagged behind. The Galaxy S25 Ultra exhibited variable performance, starting slow but improving significantly during the test. The presenter emphasizes that while all devices support Wi-Fi 7, the true advantages of this technology are not fully realized in the iPhone, which fails to support some of the advanced features that enhance speed. This video serves as a practical guide for consumers interested in the real-world performance of Wi-Fi 7 on leading smartphones.

PC,laptop, large screen 4K TV or console in a house I can get the benefits.
Even so, we watch 4K on Amazon prime movies without a single drop in bandwidth in bog standard WiFi.
But wtf a mobile…. Of course we have a stupid generation that sits watching films and Netflix on a 6” screen. This is what’s wrong with society and family life when we used to eat together, talk together and watch a *TV* together. Instead of being in bedrooms or silence staring at a screen.
The mute generation. That can’t even make eye contact  | |
