Blue Protocol to end service on January 18, 2025 in Japan; western release canceled - briefly

Free-to-play online action RPG Blue Protocol will end service on January 18, 2025 in Japan, Bandai Namco announced. The previously planned western released published by Amazon Games has been canceled. Blue Protocol first launched for PC on June 14, 2023 in Japan, followed by PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series on December 13, 2023. The game will continue to receive content updates, including new stories, leading up to its final day of service. Blue Protocol is currently available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC in Japan.
