Sony Interactive Entertainment will release an adapter enabling PlayStation VR2 to be used as a headset for virtual reality-supported PC games (SteamVR) on August 7 for $59.99 / €59.99 / £49.99 at select retailers and PlayStation Direct, the company announced.
Players will also need a commercially available DisplayPort cable
(sold separately) that is compatible with DisplayPort 1.4, as well as a
Steam account and a PC that meets the following minimum requirements
below.

As PlayStation VR2 was built specifically for PlayStation 5,
some key features such as HDR, headset feedback, eye tracking, adaptive
triggers, and haptic feedback (other than rumble), are not available
when playing on PC. However, it does support 4K visuals, 110-degree
field of view, finger touch detection, see-through view, foveated
rendering, and 3D Audio.
