Or at least that’s what its own developers hint at. Pendulo Studios has issued a statement just a few hours before the game releases, claiming that those who play the game at launch won’t be able to fully enjoy it.

Tintin Reporter - Cigars of the Pharaoh.
Despite our best efforts, those who play the game at launch won’t be
able to enjoy the experience as we intended it to be.
We are committed to fixing this situation
in a promptly manner: we will deliver the necessary patches in the
coming weeks while keeping our channels at your disposal
for any issue you want to report to us directly.
This is our most ambitious project ever, and we’re putting our heart
into it. We are devoted to paying the best tribute to the famous

By selling an incomplete game, they are taking in cash to pay people and hopefully have enough for patches.
20 years ago this would be pulled. Today it’s acceptable to release ‘not fit for purpose’. EA is just as bad with some titles ‘The Bus’ is an utter shambles… |

Controls are all over the place. Very cartoony though. It will be interesting once fixed. |
