Intel 14th Gen is actually VERY impressive! - tech
(hx) 10:32 PM CEST - Jul,18 2023
In this video, I’ve compiled the Intel 14th generation comparison to the 12th and 13th generation of processors as well as the Ryzen 7000-series by AMD. That includes the i3 14100, i5 14400, i5 14600K, i7 14700K, i9 14900K, and i9 14900KS specifications, performance, and release date.

It has to be, if Intel wants to live.
But I don't really care what these people write on paper - we have heard great promises before...
I am pretty sure these CPUs won't consume 50% less power (and dissipate that much heat) than their predecessors.

Seems i5 Will be the sweet spot - i7 just has more shit cores, that's all.
Even the i9 has only 8 cores(!), the rest are all shit cores!
6GHz looks very disappointing. We should be at 10GHz already.

I am beginning to think Intel is trying to adopt Nvidia's strategy, trying to force people to upgrade each year.
I see no high performance CPU that you will want to keep for 5+ years here.

Also, the fact that they use the previous generation motherboards suggests they don't have a whole lot of new things to offer - just the usual 'tock' cycle.
With motherboards priced like that, these CPUs won't sell - same as last year.
If I were Intel, I would not put my hopes up.
