Pentium 4 with SIS for DOS Gaming for DOS and Windows 98 Retro Gaming - briefly
(hx) 10:13 PM CEST - Mar,31 2023
The Intel Pentium 4 is not cutting it anymore for modern tasks, but what about using this old computer to play classic games? We will also checkout a motherboard with SIS chipset and see how it performs!

By the way, do you see the system responses, how fast each element on the screen reacts and redraws? And now compare it with Windows 11.... sad isn't it? Honestly, I really don't know if I can handle the cumbersomeness and ergonomic nonsense of Windows 11 and what will probably soon follow. Eventually there will be 1 element left on the screen and everything else will go through the service mode in powershell. Yes, that's exactly what it looks like to me. But it's also possible that we as humans won't care anymore, because we won't be working on computers. The AI will do everything for us :-)

Keep in mind that he is using an SSD, not HDD. If he kept up the genuine experience, that video would be at least 90 minutes long and those UI responses would not have been as smooth. Going into second level of menus actually took a second or two with HDD. Only the first level of depth was cached, if you had enough RAM and a fresh OS install.
