| (hx) 05:37 PM CET - Feb,02 2023 | Sony Interactive Entertainment has begun rolling out a new PlayStation 5 system software beta that adds Discord voice chat integration, Variable Refresh Rate support for 1440p resolution, and a variety of user experience, accessibility, and social feature enhancements, the company announced. Beta access is limited to invited participants in the United States, Canada, Japan, United Kingdom, Germany, and France. The final version of the update will launch worldwide in the coming months.

PS5 only. They learned new ways from nVidia, locking simple SW features behind HW bullsiht even though it doesnt make any sense. Seems the GPU customers showed that this is the way, as they happily buy into such bullshit. |
