| (hx) 05:25 PM CEST - Oct,20 2022 | That power draw is absolutely terrifying :-(

500W load with 335W on CPU at 100 Celsius? Wow. Forget it.
The strongest AMD eats half of that.
I still maintain my position that a 6GHz quad-core CPU would be a far better deal.
It's clearly a win to AMD at this point though.
Intel seems to be hell-bent on becoming irrelevant on the CPU market.
| lorcro2000 | (09:13 PM CEST - Oct,20 2022 ) | It's the fastest by like 2-3%, and it's cheaper to buy than a 7950 - but so many other disadvantages. The old 10 nm tech, the insane power draw and heat generation, the fact it's a dead end last gen platform... Intel is just brute forcing out the performance by turning the PC into a heater.
It may make sense for somebody, but I'm definitely preferring AMD.
| gx-x | (05:07 PM CEST - Oct,21 2022 ) | Who cares. System using 7950X CB23 = ~350W
System using 13900K CB23 = ~420W
It's not fine. Neither is 350W, but according to Steve 350 is perfectly fine, because it's AMD.
You should really really watch more GN less HWU ;)

That sums it up, I won't be buying either one for sure.
