for now, until the DDR5 tech matures, but yes, that is absolutely correct regarding its current state, as with any other DDR transition from one to a newer gen.
I have built 2 PCs with DDR5 during the past months, and with one of them, I had the chance to benchmark DDR5 against high end DDR4 modules. Literally 0 difference in FPS and also in the frame-times. | |
