The original Dead Space is returning as a remake - briefly

Electronic Arts is officially reviving the Dead Space franchise. Today at its EA Play Live broadcast, the company announced Dead Space as its "one more thing" item, a full remake of the massively popular horror game from 2008 originally developed by Visceral Games. Watch the short and sweet announcement trailer above, which is all in-engine footage. Avoiding last-gen platforms entirely, Dead Space is slated to launch across PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. EA did not reveal a launch window today, but there is a website set up for fans to sign up and wait for more details.
