No preload for Borderlands 3 PC - briefly|
| (hx) 12:23 AM CEST - Aug,13 2019 | | If you need to play the PC version of Borderlands 3 the instant it launches, here’s a bit of bad news: the Epic Games store will not support pre-loading by the Borderlands 3 release date. Epic boss Tim Sweeney has confirmed the news on Twitter, which will no doubt add yet another dose of gasoline to the burning fire of discourse around the platform.
While a lack of features comparable to Steam has been one of the chief complaints against the Epic store, the company’s been pretty slow to close the gap. A wide selection of updates noted on the store roadmap have been delayed, including player time tracking, patch size improvements, and a broader store redesign. |

I'll just torrent it the next day.

But it's nice to live in a nation with fast Internet connections. I rarely worry too much about game download speeds, especially Steam if anything chokes my connection out with max speed regardless.
| Csimbi | (02:31 PM CEST - Aug,13 2019 ) | Max speed on Steam is at 60-70MBytes/sec and that's the peak; average is down to about 50MBytes/sec.
I get better speeds on torrent (85MBytes/sec top speed and 70MBytes/sec average) and then I don't need to worry about the problems brought by the copy protection ;-)
