Intel releases new graphics drivers for Windows 10 - tech|
| (hx) 10:08 PM CEST - Oct,10 2018 | Version 25.20.100.6326 of Intel's Graphics Drivers for Windows 10 don't bring much to the table, but if you're looking to try your hand at the latest game releases, they will make your experience go a little smoother. There are, unfortunately, no new features this time around, but the drivers do contain a fix for incorrect rendering of game objects in FIFA 19 if you're using DirectX 11. They also bring launch support for Pathfinder: Kingmaker and Battlerite Royale. The supported list of processors includes the seventh-, and eighth-generation Intel's processors with UHD Graphics 610 or better and sixth-generation processors with HD Graphics 510 or later. Also included are processors from the last three generations with Intel's Iris Pro graphics solutions, alongside older Xeon, Pentium and Celeron processors with HD Graphics 500 and higher.
The full list of known issues includes:
- Intermittent crashes or hangs may occur in Forza Motorsport 7
- Windows Advanced Display Settings may show incorrect bit-depth on some primary monitors which leads to inaccurate colors.
- With Windows 10 October 2018, when recovering from hibernate, Amazon Prime video playback may become choppy and have audio corruption.
- When upgrading to Windows 10 October 2018, some installs may fail due to an Intel audio driver
The full release notes for this driver update can be found here |

Same shit different name?
| Tom | (02:15 PM CEST - Oct,11 2018 ) | When you install Windows do you keep the nVidia or AMD driver it installs?
Yes Csimbi Windows comes with an old WHQL driver.

Same shit, different name.
Not that it matters; based on this and the last couple of bits of information surfacing over the last year, I am guessing that the next Windows will be Linux anyway.

Actually does matter some what as Intel will push trying to install it's driver update utility that will plant itself in startup and run by the clock checking for extremely rare intel driver updates. Seeing how you cry about Nvidia Experience... this software does way less.
If you think Windows will be like KDE or Gnome... dream on.
Microsoft in ONI.. only to protect itself, under the guise of protecting all. I'm sure MS intentions are not all holy.

You read the news about several officers leaving, right?
Jumping ship while they can do that with their dignity (if they ever had any on that).
If not, look it up.

I hope not, they suck real bad.

I know, I just don't see anything super drastic coming. People jump ship all the time. So what? $ talks man! Sure if things are gonna go down, might be career/advantageous to leave while your still on the up. Good for them. Anyway, maybe the result here will bring cheaper prices from Intel. They've always been bitches with their prices. BUT no worse than robbers Nvidia.

You and me both.. | |
