Battlefield V Delayed to November 20 - briefly|
| (hx) 05:14 PM CEST - Aug,30 2018 | | Developer DICE has announced today that Battlefield V will have a new launch date of November 20th, 2018, marking about a one month delay from the title’s previously-announced release date of October 19th, 2018. In a blog post on the new release date, DICE general manager Oskar Gabrielson explained that the main reason behind the new launch date is that the studio is working to make “some final adjustments to core gameplay†as a result of player feedback received during the game’s prior closed alphas, and recent demos of the game at E3 and Gamescom. Specifically, Gabrielson explained that player feedback has driven the studio to make tweaks to the core gameplay such as “adjusting the gameplay tempo, improving soldier visibility and reducing player friction,†with some of those changes already set to implemented with the game’s upcoming Open Beta that begins on September 6th, 2018. |
