Red Dead Redemption 2 is Coming to PC - briefly|
| (hx) 06:06 PM CEST - Jun,22 2018 | Rockstar Games may have only announced Red Dead Redemption 2 for PS4 and Xbox One, but thanks to one of its employees, we now know the game is coming to PC as well. A LinkedIn profile of a Rockstar Games developer reveals work done on the game for PC in addition to the already known PS4 and Xbox One versions. And while Rockstar Games may have not said anything yet, it pretty much falls in line with what the company did for GTA IV and GTA V. Both games saw PC releases after being available for consoles.
Hopefully, this won’t be a case of the developer having made a mistake by accidentally adding “PC†to the Red Dead Redemption 2 entry. But it was always a surprise that Rockstar seemingly wasn’t bringing the game to PC, given the incredible success of its other titles, especially GTA V. There’s even a Change.org petition calling for a PC version, which is now 66,548 signatures toward the 75,000 target.
If the LinkedIn source is accurate, it will be interesting to see how Rockstar goes about bringing Red Dead Redemption 2 to the platform. It may launch alongside the console editions this October 26, but a more likely scenario is that an upgraded, definitive version will arrive on PCs at a later date. If that is the case, let’s hope it doesn’t take as long as GTA V to move from the Xbox and PlayStation to the PC. |

RDR1 was a great game, worthy of a next gen and PC remaster I'd say. |

If they let people know that they will be able to play it on a PC, people will wait for that and not go buy the game on console. |

But it's going to be such a good game, PC owners won't mind buying it twice just so they can play it on the day it is released for console :lol: |
