Microsoft is giving PUBG for free - briefly|
| (hx) 10:26 PM CET - Dec,15 2017 | Microsoft has announced a new promotion for the world's most powerful gaming console, the Xbox One X. If you buy it between December 17 and the end of the year, you'll get a free copy of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds.
Interestingly, this is one of the first promotions that the company has offered for its new console at all. Unlike with the Xbox One S, there are no bundles yet available for the One X. In fact, we've inquired with a number of people from Microsoft, and the company hasn't even been willing to confirm that bundles are coming (of course, this doesn't mean that they're not coming).
So, for the first time, you can get a free game with your Xbox One X purchase. PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds was only released for the Xbox One family of devices this week, and normally it costs $29.99 in the United States. While the game has been enhanced for the new console, it's only listed as having HDR, and it's also locked to 30fps. While it's not listed as being a 4K game, players have discovered a graphics menu shows it as running at 2160p, or 4K, on the new console.

He killed one guy, saw another player that ran away from him. He then commandeered a jeep and drove around the "battlezone", there was almost no one around, nothing was happening and it was boring as fu*k.
I am still wondering what all the hype is about. If I was younger I would fire up BF2 and have a blast for 20-30 minutes and not be bored at all... |

| KuBr0 | (09:00 PM CET - Dec,18 2017 ) | | a friend of mine was trying to convince me for more than half year trying to get me into the game with him to coop / duos together. I didn't like anything about the game and seen the very same negatives that you listed, watched a lot of streams and looked for reviews etc and I came to the conclusion, that nah, not going to spend 30€ on this ... Then, my friend bought it for me without asking, got me into their squad and long story short, I since clocked in more than 300 hrs into the game ( got it like 3 months and am rarely playing, am 33yo ). I always liked games with simple mechanics which were difficult to master and where there was a lot of skill to it, like QW, Q3, SC, W3, sim-racing games like AC, those were always my favorite ... and this is definitely one of them. Give the game a shot, its defo worth your time and there's more to it then meets the eye, believe me ;) |
