Halo Wars 2 Gets New Patch - patch|
| (hx) 08:40 PM CEST - Sep,28 2017 | Developers 343 Industries and Creative Assembly have released a brand new patch for their game Halo Wars 2. First and foremost, the patch adds two new maps, Mirage and Fissure, as well as a new Spectator Mode, which, as the name suggests, allows other players to watch custom matches. This mode will include a new HUD, as well as the ability to either follow specific players, or watch the match via a free cam. Besides those new pieces of content, the patch also changes a number of different stats for certain items within the game. In addition to the patch, a brand new trailer for the game’s newest expansion, Awakening the Nightmare, was also released showing off both a couple of pre-rendered cutscenes, as well as some gameplay from the expansion’s new modes and enemies. Halo Wars 2: Awakening the Nightmare was officially released today, September 26, 2017, and costs $19.99. The expansion is not a part of the game’s season pass, meaning all players will have to spend a bit of extra money on it.
Halo Wars 2 was originally released on February 21, 2017, and is available on Xbox One and Windows PC. |
