Final Fantasy XV Trailer Shows Episode Prompto - movie|
| (hx) 12:06 PM CEST - Jun,15 2017 | Square Enix released a new trailer of Final Fantasy XV, showcasing new footage of the Episode Prompto story DLC. The video also stars Naoshi Mizuta, who is known for having composed the soundtrack of Final Fantasy XI (among many other games) , and who created the theme song for Episode Prompto. Mizuta-sensei talks about his work on the game as the footage rolls under his words. It appears that there will be a lot of shooting in the DLC. Final Fantasy XV is currently available for PS4 and Xbox One. Episode Prompto will release on June 27th for both platforms.
Interestingly, the gameplay is completely different from both the original Final Fantasy XV, and from the Episode Gladiolus DLC. It’s actually more akin to a third-person shooter. Interestingly, the DLC will take about two hours to complete just the main story, but on top of that Prompto will be able to take on missions that will take even longer. There will also be time attack mode, and extra gameplay that can be tackled after the DLC is completed.
