Tom Clancy's The Division Delayed to 2016 - briefly|
| (hx) 08:54 AM CEST - May,13 2015 | Ubisoft has delayed the release of Tom Clancy's The Division to 2016.
Tom Clancy's The Division will arrive in Ubisoft's 2016 fiscal year, which ends in March 2016. In addition to this, Rainbow Six Siege and an unannounced AAA title will also launch in the same window. These games are "key drivers" for Ubisoft in the coming year, according to its investor report.
Rainbow Six Siege will arrive in Q3 of FY2016 (which means it launches this fall) with The Division following in Q4 (somewhere between January and March 2016).
"It is never an easy decision to move a launch date," Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot said, stating that this is a move "that has always benefited the company." Guillemot added that Ubisoft will announce the new game this fall. Guillemot declined to comment on whether or not it was a new IP or an existing franchise.
