| (hx) 09:47 AM CET - Feb,28 2015 | Another indie dev is taking a stab at channeling the gameplay of Dark Souls into a 2D action platformer with Death's Gambit. In Death's Gambit player's take control of an agent of Death himself as they attempt to rid the world of immortal gigantic beings and other foes. It is the encounters with these giant foes that begin to show of the game's other apparent inspiration, Shadow of the Colossus. With the use of your handy grappling hook, you'll scale up the towering foes which will assist you in the ultimate goal of toppling them. The game won't focus 100 percent on Shadow of the Colossus inspired encounters like that though and the developer says we can expect to see a variety of bosses that will make you think on your toes.
