Microsoft Announces Windows 10 - tech|
| (hx) 08:39 PM CEST - Sep,30 2014 | Microsoft announced today that its new OS will be called Windows 10 - and not Windows 9, as had been widely expected. The company also unveiled its new Windows Insider Program, and confirmed that the new OS will be available for early adopters and its "most enthusiastic" users to download tomorrow. But when will the OS actually begin rolling out to customers? Microsoft isn't yet committing to a firm date, but has said that it plans to release the full version of Windows 10 around the middle of next year.
In a video uploaded to YouTube and shared on Microsoft's official Windows blog, Joe Belfiore, leader of the Windows product definition and design team, guides the main changes people can expect in the preview. Some of the biggest changes include the task view and snap assist features revealed today. Additionally, the preview will feature the return of the Start menu to Windows, a feature heavily requested by users.

Task manager thing is/was a key combo, the window tiling/cascading was always there and now they fixed their retarded apps to work better. I see nothing here other than an OS that will be stealing cpu cycles from more important processes. And wtf was with the guys hair. Look familiar...? pfft.

leaking spyway data collection riddled garbage with fuck all useful feature improvements or options. Them slackers are still clinging onto making a unified experience acros there other shity hardware devices, bringing the desktop OS down to the levels of stupid fucking tablet crap.
you get better functionality improvements using third party enhacenment like Qttabbar classicshell startmenu truelauncherbar etc
its just a shame linux deskstop shell is so fucking bad its practically still catching upto WinXP really, and has the bugs and issues of WindowsME. Nevermind the total lack of decent native software and tools for it. |
