Watch Dogs VS Grand Theft Auto IV Comparison - movie|
| (hx) 03:11 PM CEST - May,26 2014 | YouTube's member 'Eduard Mackarchew' has created a video comparison between Watch Dogs and Grand Theft Auto IV. As we can see, GTA IV sports some effects that are not available on Watch_Dogs, such as shadows being casted by the headlights of your car.

The gameplay is the same, the cars drive the same, I think they took the bike mechanics from GTA5 and just copy/pasted them in as there is no difference in the way they drive.
Running around, driving, its all the same or every similar.
The graphics is more polished as you would expect in a newer game but to me its just GTA5 with hacking. But its smaller. GTA5 is at least 4x bigger than WatchDogs if you ask me. And GTA5 takes about 4x as long to finish the game too.
And what some stupid hacks too. Since when does steam use electricity? One of the hacks is to blow up steam vents. Now where is any kind of electronics involved there? That when it came stupid when I unlocked that hack. |

Sortof. They did great with the first 2 games then they started screwing it up and with the last 2 its just pathetic. I really hope they drop the stupid pirate and boat crap as thats got absolutely nothing to do with assassins.
Pirates and Assassins are completely different. Thats like comparing a pizza maker to a lawyer. 2 completely different people. |

It's getting boring.
Besides, they have a tendency to screw up iterations of perfectly okay games. Take Heroes of Might and Magic.

Better than that, for some it crashes consistently - to a full BSOD! Only with the latest beta drivers for the graphics is there a shot at keeping it running.
I have to say - the game as such doesn't suck, but the tech is not even slightly next-gen. It demands massive GPU power and gives you 10-year old tech, graphics and reality-wise. |
