Grand Theft Auto Online Announced - briefly

Rockstar has announced Grand Theft Auto Online. There isn't any information about the game right now, but they say previews and a gameplay video will show up on Thursday, August 15th.

Note that the teaser image describes it as "Grand Theft Auto Online" rather than GTA V online, could it be an entirely separate section of the game in the same vein of Metal Gear Online? It'll certainly be an interesting reveal, anyway.
