Pre-orders for 2D/3D masterpiece Fez start now - briefly

The XBLA hit with a tumultuous development cycle documented wonderfully in Indie Game: The Movie is now coming to PC. In a little over one week, Fez will be released on Steam and on GOG.com. To add incentive to pre-order, the game's price has been dropped to $9 from $10. Fez is one of XBLA's most beloved releases, but has also seen a bit of a fan revolt due to corrupted save problems - an issue that will hopefully be completely remedied on the PC version. Those who were affected by that may want to wait for either a massive price drop or bundle inclusion before buying if the problem is resolved, while those who haven't played it will definitely get $9 out of it if they dig world-shifted 2D platformers.
FEZ lets you explore a once peaceful 2D world flipped on its head by an amazing discovery of a 3rd dimension. As Gomez, equipped with an amazing ability allowing for a game-changing perspective shift, you explore a delightfully pixelated realm. With one press of a button impassable gaps disappear, hidden doors pop up, and suddenly, solutions sprout in the player's head. At the same time, the clever design of FEZ makes one pay attention to the smallest of details - a lightning bolt illuminates a hidden passageway, a recurring symbol finally points the player in the right direction.
