Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon has been listed for a standalone release in May on Xbox Live Arcade. An Xbox Live listing reveals that the downloadable expansion will be released on May 1, and will not require a copy of Far Cry 3 in order to play. The game's description also delves deeper into the '80s-inspired plot and confirms the involvement of Terminator actor Michael Biehn. "Your mission: get the girl, kill the baddies, and save the world. Experience every cliche of a VHS era vision of a nuclear future, where cyborgs, blood dragons, mutants, and Michael Biehn (Terminator, Aliens, Navy Seals) collide."
A listing for the game recently appeared on the Brazilian ratings board with an 18+ rating for drugs, sex and extreme violence. Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC were listed as launch platforms. Achievements for Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon have also leaked online, supporting claims that the title will be a standalone spin-off rather than a DLC expansion.
