Microsoft begins E3 2013 countdown - briefly|
| (hx) 08:36 AM CET - Jan,03 2013 | | Xbox LIVE's Larry 'Major Nelson' Hryb has posted a timer counting down to E3 2013 on his blog, with the tagline, "And it's on." Although there's a good five months to go before the June event, anticipation is already high. Microsoft is strongly tipped to debut its next console, apparently codenamed Durango, ahead of a possible holiday season release. |

So maybe not a good codename, since i can imagine a few Xbox knobs phoning them to pre-order the knee high console, when it comes out......

| psolord | (06:01 PM CET - Jan,04 2013 ) | Well we can always hope they make something worthwhile. After all it will be for our benefit.
The problem is that this benefit will go away too fast. Expecting something much below PC standards is the most sensible thing.

But, it seems to me that the XBox team wants to kill PC gaming, while the Windows team advocated that they see a big future.
The Windows mobile team screws up the PC platform (see Windows 8 ).
Several different strategies under the same roof won't fly together for too long.
It is understandable that they'd want to bring these worlds together, but in the end, they are shooting themselves in the leg; these platforms have their own unique characteristics and idioms. They should be embracing them all instead of cutting the corners tighter and tighter.

Exactly what i have said for years; anything that puts PC gaming backwards or stifles it isn't needed or has ever been good for the industry. Yet M$ buyout dev's and DLC for it's XBox and screw the PC unchallenged.
No, M$ haven't ever advocated PC gaming; DLC content for GTAIV on XBox but not PC on release... i rest my case.
Anyone else who says otherwise is a hypocrite...
| Kompressor | (10:23 PM CET - Jan,04 2013 ) | | Is the new Xbox going to have a Windows 8 logo on it? | |
| Csimbi | (12:10 AM CET - Jan,05 2013 ) | Yes, probably that's the big announcement, lol
So you can plug in your MS phone and control the game with your MS tablet.
Another thing the world did not need...
