Borderlands 2 patch #1 - patch

GearBox Software has released a small patch update for Borderlands 2. One of the biggest issues reported amongst gamers on Steam is lost saves. Still others had problems launching the game, or got the region locked Russian version of the game. Gearbox did not say what issues this patch fixes so it is unclear of what has been addressed. We have pushed out a small update for Borderlands 2 PC that has minor bug fixes. Restart your Steam Client for the update to apply.

They made it a bit harder to hack skeleton keys and enabled DLCs.

I haven't had time to mess with this game yet. Hyped a lil too much or is it worth the time to check it out? Watched a couple streams of people playing and it seemed to be halfway decent except for all the damn loot crates everywhere. Half the time people are running around opening boxes and shit after they kill a handful or so enemies.

That's what it is.
Instead of Run&Gun, now it's Run&Gun&Loot.
Opening the boxes is kinda boring. I opened a few thousand and found only one purple gun in one of them. It's mostly gold and ammo.
Gold is a pointless pick-up; you get better income from selling loots.
There's way too much ammo - at least if your accuracy is good enough.

There seems to be a bug with gold/ammo drops (on kill); these sometime get under the surface and have to be grabbed manually, which is again, boring.

I have to say that I am having great laughs though, it's fun.
There are funny characters, quests and voiceovers.
The main story is all right so far.
