Diablo III Patch 1.02b - patch|
| (hx) 01:11 AM CEST - Jun,08 2012 | The Diablo III Website has word that a new version 1.0.2b patch is now available in Blizzard's action/RPG sequel:
General
When logging into Diablo III, the "Cancel" button which
appears in the login checkbox will now be grayed out for 30 seconds
after a Battle.net account name and password are entered. This is to
reduce server load during the login process.
Auction House
Damaged items can now be sold on the auction house
Once sold, damaged items will be repaired automatically when
moved from the purchasing player's Completed tab to their stash
Please note that unsold damage items will not be
automatically repaired when returned to the seller's stash
Description messages for several auction house-related errors
have been added
Mac
Several Mac performance improvements have been made
Bug Fixes
- General
-It is no longer possible to skip entire Acts in
a multiplayer game
- Classes
Barbarian
Active Skills
- Fixed a bug that was
allowing certain barbarian skills to continuously trigger each other's
critical strikes, to the point of causing the player to crash. To
address this crash, the following skill and skill rune combinations can
no longer be triggered by each other's critical strikes:
- Battle Rage (Skill Rune - Bloodshed)
- Cleave (Skill Rune - Rupture and Skill
Rune - Scattering Blast)
- Hammer of the Ancients (Skill Rune -
Thunder Strike)
- Wrath of the Berserker (Skill Rune -
Slaughter)
- Followers
Monsters who are charmed by the Enchantress's
skill "Mass Confusion" can no longer kill event NPCs
Blizzard also offers this preview of the upcoming version 1.0.3 patch for the game, which will offer more significant changes when it's released later this month. |

| Tom | (06:03 PM CEST - Jun,08 2012 ) | I have pretty much walked away from this game myself. Reasons being.
- the game is cheap, not enough content
- game does not reward you with weapons or armor well enough
- played to nightmare, while I walk through 99% of the enemies, the semi-bosses are ridiculously overpowered for the equipment you can get (without having to use Auction House. Don't give a shit about Auction House)
- It's damn repetitive. Redoing the maps over and over again is super boring me out. Random maps? My ass.
- This Checkpoint shit sucks. I rather decide when I want to play, not be dictated by making it to a checkpoint to be able to exit.
I am waiting anxiously for TorchLight II which I think is going to kick the shit out of Diablo.
| Koogle | (08:43 PM CEST - Jun,08 2012 ) | I agree with all those points.. really I have to wonder wtf Blizzard did in all those years. Its just kinda pathetic when you look at the maps that they provide did they really just spend fucking years on tweaking colors around. Instead of actually working on more content for players to go through.
Varied dungeons.. yeh hardly. When they showed those screenshots of the game I didn't realize they were showing pretty the much the entire fucking game. Even titan quest had more varied maps & content to go through. I have only made 2 classes.
