Minecraft Gone Gold - gold|
| (hx) 06:16 PM CET - Nov,14 2011 | Minecraft creator Notch has just tweeted that the game has finally gone gold. What that means is that long development is finally over, and the game is ready for it's full release on November 18th. The game will be released on PC while the Xbox 360 version is coming sometime next year.
So, yes, Minecraft has gone gold. :D

Really Notch is just excited that he can bump the price up, go on extended leave and find that people will still be stupid enough to buy Minecraft now that it is out of beta..
It's a fucking joke development Notch & Jeb, they spend more time on socialfad media whipping the fanboys up with new frivolous poorly developed shit they have added. While actual mod developers for MC have done leaps and bounds more interesting things than the actual developers had done in ages on top of having to work around not having a proper mod api. |
