Steves Jobs Dies at 56 - briefly|

Jobs, the charismatic technology pioneer who co-founded Apple Inc. and transformed one industry after another, from computers and smartphones to music and movies, has died. He was 56. He had resigned as chief executive of Apple in August, after struggling with illness for nearly a decade, including a bout with pancreatic cancer in 2003 and a liver transplant six years later. I haven't been a fan of his, but I do respect what what he has done for the computing industry as a whole. His vision is a thing that will be missed in the years to come. May he be at peace, and I wish his family well.

Pre-order sales for the book have skyrocketed on Amazon.com. The web site shows that the the book is now the number one best selling book from the retailer. Sales have gone up over 48,000 percent on Amazon in the last 24 hours. In addition the book is also number one on Apple's iTunes store for its downloadable iBook section. |

I can agree somewhat on what you say but I'm more inclined to say who cares that he died in general. He wasn't the person responsible for all they laud on him. Steve Wozniak is a much more interesting individual and had more influence on how we use technology than Steve Jobs ever could have. Hell if anyone computer wise gets this much media attention it should be Bill Gates and MS. I can't imagine what would have happened in MS or Gates place. Worse? Better? Who knows. |

A briliant guy needs money, and the corporations do that - they turn your ideas into profit!
Steve Jobs didnt just created those tech stuff, one of the thing that i admire him the most is that he was the founder of PIXAR!
And on the other side, the whole hype with Ibrand i not for the rich wealthy guys, its for the idiots that worship those 2$ worth plastics made in China!!! |
