Battlefield 3 Open Beta starts Sep 29th - briefly|
| (hx) 08:45 PM CEST - Sep,20 2011 | DICE and EA have announced that the Battlefield 3 multiplayer beta will be open all players from around the world on September 29, 2011.
Running until October 10th, the Battlefield 3 Open Beta is your chance to play the game early, try out our free social platform Battlelog, and help us make the game even better by sending us your valuable feedback.
If you pre-order Battlefield 3 (PC digital download version) on Origin before September 25th, or if you have registered your first-hand copy (by activating its Online Pass) of Medal of Honor: Limited Edition/Tier 1 Edition, you will get 48 hours early access to the Beta, meaning you can start playing Tuesday, September 27th. The full details on how you will be granted early acess is available on our new Beta section.
For Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, the Open Beta will be visible on the consoles' digital marketplaces under Battlefield 3. For PC, you need to install Origin and download the Open Beta from within the Origin application.

Ya well not everyone is as smart as you. Lots of pc gamers are in denial, lots of pc gamers don't give a shit like you, so nothing improves. So I'm just simply providing a warning to those about to fork out $60 for the same game with a new skin and showing people that the same crap anti-cheat that everyone knows doesn't stop shit. Cheaters suck and the pc platform is a fucking pathetic hunk of shit when it comes to protection. I don't like big game companies like EA who do jack shit but instead try and hide it. The real reason they removed spec. People can say console is just as bad but it's not true at all and on console they kick ANYONE suspected or caught cheating and that's a CONSOLE ban not a fucking lame PB kick where someone can just regen their key. IF I bought this it would definitely be on console. Even playing ground for everyone and less cheaters. I'm also not a loser gamer who whines because I have to play with a gamepad instead of mouse and keyboard. |

Keyboard and mouse is far superior to gamepads, and always will be. (Until the brain machine interface!). Consoles have their place and are great for the living room and casual gaming.
EA are far from perfect but I'm still looking forward to BF3 as are most other battlefield fans....whatever machine you play it on. |
