Square Enix revealed to PC Gamer that Deus Ex: Human Revolution on the PC will indeed use DirectX 11. This includes some use of tessellation, something that Nvidia has been pushing for the industry to adopt for some time. The team say that they’ve significantly rewritten the engine to take advantage of the extra processing power of the PC. Even without DirectX 11, players with multiple core CPUs can expect increased frame rates. Eidos say that a dual core setup can be 'up to a 70% increase' in speed on machines running on dual core rigs. PC Gamer also reveals that the development team is working to offer full AMD Eyefinity support for up to five displays:
