Black Ops Escalation Now Available - console
(hx) 11:28 AM CEST - May,04 2011
Heads up 360 owners, the Call of Duty: Black Ops - Escalation DLC pack (including the Call of the Dead Zombie map) is now available for download. It'll cost you about $15 buckaroos, or 1200MSP on Xbox Live.
With 2 billion hours played and counting, Call of Duty: Black Ops consistently draws millions of gamers around the world online every day. Escalation's four new multiplayer maps and unprecedented Zombie experience, featuring famed director George A. Romero, Robert Englund, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Michael Rooker and Danny Trejo, and an original music track from Avenged Sevenfold titled "Not Ready to Die," will continue this global phenomenon.

The Escalation content pack's new multiplayer maps include:
* "Hotel," where players battle it out on the roof of a Cuban luxury hotel and casino against the vivid backdrop of old Havana
* "Convoy," which delivers intense, close-quarters combat at the scene of an ambushed U.S. military convoy
* "Zoo," which sets gamers on an eerie ride through an abandoned Soviet Russian Zoo with danger at every turn
* "Stockpile," which pits players in a remote Russian farm town, housing secret WMD facilities
* "Call of the Dead," Escalation's Zombie experience that assembles a zombie-carnage dream team to fight against a new and undefeatable zombie horde menace, all set in the dark, ice-covered isles of Siberia.
Update: According to the Xbox.com support site, some users are experiencing issues with the redemption of download codes (or vouchers) purchased at GameStop for the most recent Call of Duty: Black Ops map pack. nfinity Ward community manager, Robert Bowling, has been discussing the current situation on his Twitter account.

I'm tired of being milked. F off with these BS map packs. $15 bucks! F off. Who's to say these weren't siting around forever? Last map pack had exploits on PC and these assholes banned and denied it, then a patch comes out fixing exploits. I've had enough of BS myself, well at least on PC. I'm sick of the endless cheating. ONLY on PC can you always run into those guys with supposedly amazing radar where they follow you on the other side of walls/buildings. You see in spec that they got their site on you stop and go, You NEVER see that on console. NEVER, never seen it but on PC it's on almost every server. Or how about that huge plume of smoke, you can't see jack yet you always have people in spec aiming people up and nailing them through a thick smoke. F off, I'm sick of it. Sick of it totally, just totally turned me off of the game and most especially the PC. I think the LAST PC shooter I buy on PC is Duke. I am done with PC and shooters. Every fucking PC fps game is exploited like shit. Admined servers, what a fucking joke. Admined by a 12 year old, clueless to cheaters. Check the net you fucking retard pc gamers and you'll find a million and one hacks for any shooter out there. And read the underline, VAC and PB proof!! Ok, I'm done ranting.

Black Ops: Escalation is awesome so far! A few minutes ago I came across a blog that's giving out the Escalation DLC for free! I thought it was a scam until I saw the DLC code laying in my e-mail inbox. :D

I'm not sure if there's any codes left, but if you want to give it a shot, here's the site:

Ban this guy HX, he's posted adware/trojan like stuff. Don't click his link. Do survey get this and that bs. Scam, next thing you know your email is tagged for a million and one spams. If it's going to be free it's going to be sanctioned site by the publisher.
