Crysis 2 Multiplayer Demo - demo|

multiplayer demo for Crysis 2 (PC, Xbox 360) offering two
maps, two modes (Team Instant Action pits two teams against each other
as they kill as
many opponents as possible to win the round and Crash Site, where
players will battle for control of alien drop pods, earning points by
guarding their pods and keeping enemies at bay), and hours of
multiplayer action. The first map, Skyline, is set along New York
rooftops and is playable in Team Deathmatch. The second, Pier 17, is a
more open map that's playable in Crash Site mode -- a variant of King
of the Hill where you will fight for control of alien drop pods and
rack up points in the process. The 1.6GB PC download can be found on AtomicGamer, CGO.ro, NVIDIA, GH, STEAM
and SI. If you're an Xbox 360 user,
you can download the demo from the Xbox Live Marketplace.

In related news, NVIDIA have published the world's first Crysis 2 single-player
benchmarks. So what card do you really need? Well their tests
showed that even the min spec 8800GT can run Crysis 2 fine at a
respectful 1680x1050 resolution, however if you really want to max out
Crysis 2 at any setting and at any resolution then the GeForce GTX 580
is your answer ;) The full Crysis 2 multiplayer will include
six gameplay modes: Instant Action, Team Instant Action, Crash Site,
Capture the Relay, Extraction and Assault, set across 12 maps in
Crytek’s recreation of the New York City, featuring a 50-level
progression system and unlockable Nanosuit upgrades. The game will be
hitting PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 platforms on March 22 for U.S.
gamers, then a few days following on March 25 for European residents.

I may not be remotely interested in multi player games, but the engine seems quite solid. Good work I'd say.
Why so secretive about the DX11 portion of the game though? |
