Steam's Holiday Sale is Here! - briefly|
| (hx) 12:47 AM CET - Dec,21 2010 | The annual Steam Holiday Sale has just
kicked off and is all geared up to last gamers until the 2nd
of January in the new year. In addition there are publisher
game bundles and indie game packs that save you even more money.
The Steam Holiday Sale is on now through Sunday, January 2, 2011.
Gamers may save up to 80% on select titles, with daily and week-long
savings on featured titles, publisher game packs, and compilations. In
addition to the usual savings specials, each day of the sale will
feature a special Holiday Bonus on one select title. The twist: Players
must qualify for the Holiday Bonus by owning another Steam game. For
example, the first Holiday Bonus is Portal - save an extra 10% if you
own Half-Life 2. If you already own the title, Steam will automatically
detect this and offer you the 10% savings during check out.

While Steam is having a pretty massive holiday PC game sale
at the moment, the Games For Windows Marketplace
(S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Shadow of Chernobyl for just $4.99, Plants Vs Zombies
for $7.49., F.E.A.R. 2 and A Vampyre Story for $9.99 each) and the GamersGate
( Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 for $7.98 each and Star Trek Online for
$14.98) web sites have their own week-long savings events that will
last from now until next Monday, December 27. Also GOG.com is celebrating the end of
2010 as it starts its holiday sale that will extend for the
next two weeks and end on January 3. The site has almost 300 of its games on sale for between 30
percent to 50 percent off its already low prices.

God I wish they will make Gothic 4 a bit cheaper. I'd like a 50% discount on Witcher 2 preorder as well! :D | |
