The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Announced - briefly

Bethesda Software tonight announced The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim at the Spike Video Game Awards show. Elder Scrolls V will be released on Nov. 11, 2011 (11.11.2011 wow). Platforms were not announced. This tweet indicates the game will be using an all new engine, which we would guess is id's Tech 5 engine being created for RAGE and DOOM 4.

Update: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will launch on November 11, 2011, for the PC, Xbox 360 and, PlayStation 3.
