Tomb Raider Reboot Announced - briefly

Publisher Square Enix has revealed a reboot of Tomb Raider, to be developed by Crystal Dynamics. The game delves into the past, charting the first adventure of a younger, inexperienced Lara Croft washed up on an unknown beach after being shipwrecked during a storm. No mention was made of a release date for the game named simply Tomb Raider or platforms.

Game Informer magazine posted scans of its next cover featuring a bedraggled looking Lara Croft, as well as the promise of tons of details on the game in its January issue.
