CoD Black Ops PC now available for pre-order - briefly

As expected, Steam is now offering pre-purchases of Call of Duty: Black Ops in advance of the release of the military shooter sequel on November 9. In addition, publisher Activision today revealed a few of the specific features that'll be deployed in Treyarch's Cold War-era shooter. Steamworks will provide auto-updating, achievements and support for the Steamworks Cloud, which helpfully stores your data online. Both retail and digital editions of Call of Duty Black Ops use Steamworks, meaning you that no matter where you buy your copy, you'll be able/required to add it to your Steam account and play through the Steam client.
