NVIDIA 258.96 WHQL-Candidate drivers available - tech

Coinciding with yesteday's GeForce GTX 460 release is the arrival of new graphics drivers (Windows 7/Vista 32-bit, Windows 7/Vista 64-bit, Windows XP 32-bit, and Windows XP 64-bit) for all desktop and notebook GeForce/ION GPUs on Windows 7, Windows Vista, and Windows XP operating systems. The new 258.96 WHQL-candidate drivers add support for the GeForce GTX 460 GPU and incorporate a number of performance improvements in titles such as Metro 2033, Crysis Warhead, Stalker: Call of Pripyat, and Aliens vs Predator. The 258.96 driver also includes support for 3D Vision Surround - the world's first and only stereoscopic 3D solution that spans across 3 display. Grab them if you need them.
